[ Business Visitor Visas ]
If you do not hold a passport from an ETA eligible country, and you wish to visit Australia for business purpose, you will need to apply for a business visitor visa at the Visa Office of the Australian Consulate-General. How to apply?
Application may be lodged personally, by your representative or sent to the Visa Office by mail.

Up to 10 working days - We urge you to lodge your application well in advance of your intended travel.
To make an application for a business visitor visa you will need to provide the following documentation:

A completed form 456; |

The visa application charge; |
|
|
Evidence of your employment, such as a letter from your employer stating your position, length of employment and reason for travel; |
|
|
If you are self employed, documents showing that the business is registered and operating in Hong Kong;*** |
|
|
Further evidence of your employment such as taxation return documents or pay slips;*** |
|
|
Your business name card; |
|
|
A letter from your business contact in Australia confirming the details of your visit; |
|
|
Evidence of your funds, such as a recent bank statement;*** |
|
|
Your travel itinerary; |
|
|
Your valid passport with evidence of your residence status in Hong Kong; |
|
|
Your Hong Kong ID card;*** |
|
|
One passport sized photograph. |
*** Bring originals plus one photocopy to include with your application.
