Renewal Form PC7
The Passport Renewal Application form (PC7) streamlines the application process for certain Australian citizens. The form is pre-completed with information from your previous passport application. Blank application forms can not be printed.
All applications must be lodged in person by the applicant at the Australian Consulate-General in Hong Kong. You must pay the application fee when you lodge.
When can I use the PC7 form?
You can use the PC7 form in the following circumstances:

When you are renewing your adult passport, and your most recently issued adult passport
|
|
When you are applying for your first adult passport, and your most recently issued child passport
|
Any passport applications that do not meet the above requirements must be lodged using the Application for an Australian Passport Overseas Form (PC8).
The PC7 form can not be used in any of the following circumstances:

if it is a first time application; OR |
|
|
if there are any changes to the personal information that appears in the passport, such as a change of name, date of birth or sex; OR |
|
|
if you are renewing the passport of a minor (under 18 years) -i.e. you canot use a PC7 for children; OR |
|
|
if your most recent or current passport has been lost, stolen or damaged. |
How do I get a PC7 form?

visit www.passports.gov.au to complete the form online, and then print it; OR |
|
|
if you do not have internet access, or are unable to print the form, call the Passport Office on 2585 4146. We will hold your pre-printed PC7 application form in our office until you arrive ; OR |
|
|
request a PC7 form when you arrive at the Consulate-General. Please note that you need to present your passport and answer relevant security questions correctly in order to receive a PC7 form. PC7 forms must be personally obtained by the applicant. |
If your answers to our security questions do not match information kept in our database, you may be required to complete a full application form (PC8).
Photographs for PC7 applications
Please supply two recent passport photographs (no more than six-months old). Read the strict requirements carefully to ensure your photographs are acceptable. Please note that we do not have a passport photo machine at the Consulate.
It is not necessary to have your photos endorsed by a guarantor when using the PC7 form.
